The congress will take place in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), which is a century-old public institution nationally and internationally recognized.

UFRGS has four campi in Porto Alegre. The congress is planned to occur in the Central Campi, which is located in the center of the city, near hotels, restaurants, bus stations and even the airport (10 min. by car).

Activities will be distributed in four buildings:

  • Conference center: Main conferences

  • Cultural Center: Parallel Sessions

  • Economy Faculty: Working Groups

​How to travel to Porto Alegre

Porto Alegre International Airport has direct flights from and to several Latin American cities such as Montevideo (Uruguai), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Santiago (Chile), Lima (Peru) and Panamá City.


Concerning other continents, with the current expansion of the airport, until 2024 several flights will be operating between Porto Alegre and other capitals in Europe. Up to now, best options of flights are:
